第２5回日米友愛ジャンボレット（大会長：稲嶺惠一沖縄県連盟長、実行委員長：伊敷元秀沖縄県連盟理事長）の開会式が、秋晴れながら気温の高いお天気の中、１０月１日（土）、９：００、沖縄県平和祈念公園（糸満市）において行われ、豊見城1団ビーバー・カブ隊も参加しました。
The 25th BSA-SAJ Friendship Jamborette Opening Ceremony was carried out at Okinawa Memorial Park at 9:00 on Oct.01 (Sat) in autumn sunny weather with high temperature.

開会式は、當銘真栄糸満市長代理の金城秀同市教育委員会教育部長、苦瓜一夫兵庫連盟姫路６団団委員長）を来賓に迎え行われました。
Mr. Shigeru Kinjo a Director of Education, Itoman City Board of Education (on bealf of the mayor of Itoman City) and Mr. Kazuo Nigauri a Scout Group Himeji 6 Committee Chairman as the guests.

開会式はまず日米両国国旗掲揚、両国国歌斉唱から始まりました。
First, the Opening Ceremony began with the Japan and US Flag raising and the Japan and US national anthems.


その後、宮里博史副連盟長が所用で参加できなかった稲嶺惠一大会長（連盟長）挨拶を、金城秀同市教育委員会教育部長が當銘糸満市長あいさつを代読。
おじいちゃんがボーイスカウト沖縄県連盟から派遣された平和祈念財団理事として、金城克也会長に代わってあいさつをしました。
After that, Hiroshi Miyazato, Vice President of the Council, read a speech on behalf of Keiichi Inamine, who was unable to attend due to some business, and Shigeru Kinjo, Director of Education, Itoman City Board of Education, read a speech on behalf of Shinichi Tome the Mayor of Itoman. In addition, Grandpa (an Okinawa Council Auditor) made a speech on behalf of President Katsuya Kinjo as a Board Member of the Peace Memorial Foundation.

また、日米スカウト代表が「私たち参加スカウトは、日米友愛ジャンボレット期間中、様々なプログラムに積極的に参加し、大会を楽しみながら、大会テーマの『恒久平和、友情、絆』を胸に、大会目的の『スカウトの友情』を深めます。」と決意表明しました。そして、日米のスカウト全委員で「I’v got the BP spirits」を合唱して開会式を終えました。
Scout representatives from BSA & SAJ expressed their determination as follow. Scout representatives from BSA & SAJ expressed their determination as follow. “We will think about the Jamborette theme “Permanent Peace, Friendship and Bonds” the Jamborette purpose and theme, not only during the Jamborette but also into the future. We, the attending Scouts, will enthusiastically participate in the various program activities during the Jamborette.Thus ended the opening ceremony.
The Opening Ceremony ended with all the scouts from Japan and the United States singing “I’v got the Scouting spirits” together.
